What are your royalty offerings?

Our contracts are simple. For all books, we give 30% of the royalty, minus print costs, to our client partners. This is significantly higher than industry standards We typically don’t negotiate or make any changes to our agreement.

When do I receive royalties?

Upland Kids sends out royalty checks twice a year. Checks are mailed on the first Friday in June and December.

What services does Upland Kids offer?

We are a full-service publisher that handles everything from editing and copyediting, cover design to formatting, printing, marketing, distribution, and publicity. We work with every author hand-in-hand to make sure they are completely satisfied. On final approval, you will have copies of your work on hand that you could be proud of and look towards a successful release.

Do you publish print books and how much will it cost me?

There aren't any fees associated with publishing your book with us, but we do require authors to initially have 100 copies of their own title for local marketing/sales at the time it becomes retail ready.

What type of distribution do you offer?

Upland Kids is distributed to over 40 retail and ebook vendors including, but not limited to, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Sony, Kobo, Ingram, Baker and Taylor, Follett, Overdrive and many, many more. Your books and ebooks will be available at retailers both large and small regardless of reading habit, device or platform. What type of marketing does Upland Kids offer?
